Return to store & get a refund. Sentry, Hartz & Seargants all have class action suits against their flea products for being toxic & causing deaths to dogs & cats or only making them seriously ill. There are many cases against all of the OTC flea spot-ons for making pets ill or killing them. Check the age for any you buy most can only be applied from 8 - 12wk so you need to be certain. Here is a link showing many horror stories about cheap spot-ons.

No no and no, don't use it on your dog. If you MUST go back to the store and purchase the proper weight one. But honestly sentry isn't super great. If you have a flea problem look into Advantage or Revolution. If you use any of the 66 lbs flea stuff you could end up with a dead dog. Which would be awful.

Sentry sucks, vets push it but it's not the best. I've had good luck with Frontline also. You can return, no. I would as you would have to figure out what 1/11 of this product would be. Not that hard if you have a science lab at your disposal, but if not it could be.

Take it back, that stuff isn't as safe as Frontline Plus or Advantage and no it's not safe to just use a little especially on a puppy. Its always better to check with your vet before buying anything like over the counter stuff

I was warned not to use the Sentry flea/tick medications. I would return it and use something else like frontline plus. You wouldn't know exactly how much to apply, and you could risk burning their skin (chemical burns) or making them sick internally from the pesticides, or not applying enough and getting lyme disease from a tick or flea infestation.

Don't forget you need to get a heartworm pill like Interceptor after the vet does a heartworm test--don't try giving an otc one or one from the vet without testing first because it could be deadly to give a heartworm positive dog a heartworm pill.
