My cat licked Revolution flea control. She was already sick and the vet put it on her but she moved ?
Di asked:
The vet put Revolution flea control on my already vomiting cat.But she squirmed and it went down her back. She is now in a cat e-collar to stop her licking it.But she isn’t eating or drinking with the collar. The vomiting has stopped.

how long ago was the revolution been on her? It’s probably in her skin by now. Did your vet tell you when it’d be okay to take the collar off?

The responsibility lies with the Vet – call his/her surgery and ask for advice.
You could wipe off any excess flea control from her fur since the active ingredient will have been absorbed where it should have been on her skin, as noted above.
It won’t hurt her to wait for her food for a few hours if this is the safe option, or you could make a soft collar, which I did with one of my cats. I cut it out of a thicker plastic store shopping bag and stapled it to be a good fit. The cat who had this fell down the stairs with the stiff collar but coped well with a soft version.

Ask the vet if you can move and throw away the collar
